We did not notice an awful change. We indeed did not have sex. We were absolutely normal people and could not even imagine that a man or a woman could be bought or that a person can be a subject of trade. The idea that deep intimate relationship could happen without love was alien. We did not even use the word sex. We used to say love! For us an intimate relationship between a man and a woman was love. If it was different, then it was very bad, it was deemed as perversion. The freedom of sex opened the door for all the base, animal longings. We started to forget the word love. The difference between the Western and the USSR cultures was enormous. We were poor, we lived under a totalitarian government but people had the true spiritual integrity, they were wholesome. People had God in their hearts, they had faith in man and better values. All of that was despite the fact that religion was officially banned. That atheistic ordeal that we were going through had more God in it than the religious West. How did that happen that we gave up on the word love and accepted the sub- stitute so easily? Why is love not the supreme expression of kindness in our mind? Actually, love is the highest expression of love and kindness. Everything is in our understanding of the world, everything is in our heads. Every minute I feel like Don Quixote who has his Dulcinea next to him. I adore her beyond belief, I cherish every second of our life, I admire the beauty of the divine crea- ture. I am in awe of these delicate little fingers and white purity of her glowing skin. I have the perfection of life by my side, Madonna. One can admire it endlessly, one can make this the sense of life. This is life itself. This is in every person’s life, they just have to allow themselves to see it, to fall in love with it and to become loved. After all, Dulcinea was a servant, it was Don Quixote who saw her as a princess. That became the truth. Allow this truth into your life. Real life can be a lie, a very vile lie. This is only because you yourself allow it to be that and accept that. Unfortunately, the understanding of the principle of kindness and gratitude as the universal principle has not formed in our society yet. All problems on the personal and international level happen because this principle is ignored. The words sex and freedom radically changed self identification of the whole nation. The fundamental concepts such as piece, love, kindness disappeared from the everyday vocabulary of people. When I realised that two words destroyed such a great country as Soviet Union, I thought that there had to be two words that can save the world. That was how I discovered the law of kindness and gratitude. In thebeginningwas theWord, and theWordwaswithGodand theWordwasGod. God is love Love is Kindness. Kindness to other people. Gratitude is love of other people. A kind person will never loose love. As for the word freedom, often it hides barefaced demagogy. Freedom is in kindness. When a person understands all the depth of the two words – kind- ness and gratitude, their life will change for the better. Can you imagine how our world will change if these words are the basis for upbringing, education and state policy? Humanity would reach unprecedented heights. My most cherished dream is for the words kindness and gratitude to take their place in our consciousness and society. From publisher.
